Dimensions of the Unheimliche

Abstract

This text intends to investigate the phenomenon of the Unheimliche and the treatment that Freud and Lacan, among others, make of it, together with hundreds of terms that are inserted in a series, such as horror and terror, in a relation to the aforemen-tioned phenomenon and that in turn sometimes they lack the precision with which the Unheimliche is argued, or they are mentioned withoutd welling on their rigorous treatment. Thus, tracing various text where reference is made to horror and terror, they will try to specify in relation to the inquiry of Freud and Lacan about what excites anguish
