Abstract

The Simbolic, the Imaginary and the Real are the three registers that organize Lacan’s work. The Simbolic, in its dominant place, introduces the thirdness. With the pass of time, Lacan uses topology to precise the structure. The ternary suffers a transfor-mation, it becomes RSI and converted to the borromean knot with three consistencies. The hypothesis of this paper is that Lacan wanted Psychoanalysis to become a science of the subject, by transforming the borromean knot to an algorithm. But he finds a lot of problems in his way, that until now. In the borromean knot, the three is different than the Other, and this is the Real thta introduces sex and prevents the Psychoanalysis of becoming a science.
